Land Bank Bursary Scheme

Land Bank's primary mission is to cater to the needs of South African commercial and emerging agriculture by providing specialised financial services accessible to farmers nationwide. These services encompass financing options for land acquisition, equipment, asset improvement and production credit. The institution has evolved into a dedicated South African development finance entity, with an unwavering commitment to equitable service for all farmers. In its role as a responsible lender and in pursuit of long-term sustainability, Land Bank places a strong emphasis on environmentally sound practices, both within its internal operations and in collaboration with its clients. Every loan disbursed and every farming venture initiated must align with the goal of safeguarding not only the interests of clients but also ensuring that agricultural practices contribute value and are environmentally sustainable in the long run.

Land Bank currently have no bursary programmes running at this present time, and will provide more information should things develop further during the course of the year.​ Land Bank is committed to creating opportunities for youth to participate in the agricultural sector. One of the ways in which we do this is through the Land Bank Bursary Scheme. The programme is focused on developing a pipeline of young talent not only to feed directly into Land Bank, but into the agricultural sector at large.
